A drawing which is marked up in the field reflecting changes to the design documents during construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning.
As-builts reflect the actual construction completed, noting any deviations from the original design. These documents are crucial for future maintenance, renovations, or legal purposes. They provide an accurate record of the project as completed. When performing new construction or renovation projects, contractors are required to submit detailed as-built drawings that include all changes to ensure that an accurate and up-to-date drawing of the completed work exists. It is similar to a Record Drawing.
