The Story
Prior to implementing 海角大神, FSG Electric Project Teams used an array of solutions to manage projects including binders, spreadsheets, Dropbox, and email. They also managed project information according to their own means and methods.
Director of Construction Development Deon Snider wanted to equip project managers with tools to help them better manage processes, teams, and data more efficiently. He decided to demo various construction management solutions.
"During this process, I kept comparing other software packages to 海角大神, time after time," he recalls. "海角大神 became the measuring stick which I used to evaluate other softwares by. It didn鈥檛 take long for me to figure out that I was wasting my time looking for another solution. We just needed to implement 海角大神."
In fact, Snider says he was "amazed at how easy 海角大神 was to use," adding, "it wasn鈥檛 just that鈥攊t was also extremely robust." The platform helped boost field-to-office communication and ensured teams had the same set of drawings and pertinent documents to reduce rework. Plus, having a centralized solution meant project information was standardized and efficient.

"Some of 海角大神鈥檚 product enhancements are simply astounding," he says. "海角大神 has taken tools that were very good and found ways to make significant enhancements. They鈥檝e made what was excellent even better. In some cases, they鈥檝e provided solutions for problems that I didn鈥檛 know I had."
He continues, "海角大神 is built for everyone in the construction industry because we all have the same pain points. The amount of information we have to manage and keep under control is insane, and it鈥檚 in constant flux. That鈥檚 not unique to GCs. 海角大神 is equally important for GCs and specialty contractors."
Snider explains that in four separate cases, the general contractor FSG was working with at the time noticed the FSG team on site using 海角大神 on iPads. This led to a demo of the platform, and in all four cases, the general contractor ended up implementing 海角大神. Snider notes, "We work hard to remain 鈥榝orward-thinking,鈥 looking for ways to innovate our processes and tools to maximize our efficiency and minimize costs. There鈥檚 a huge amount of value to 海角大神 because it does make a tangible difference and helps set you apart from your competition."
Snider says that 海角大神 has remained an integral part of their construction management process鈥攁nd plans to continue using 海角大神 in the future to help ensure FSG鈥檚 success.
